my mom's coffee maker

All of my life my mom perked her coffee on top of the stove...do you know that wonderful smell? Well, my mom used to have a Pyrex coffee perculator, glass, lovely thing.  I loved that coffee pot and never understood how she got it to taste the same absolute way every day! Anywhoo, I found one at the Goodwill the other day....6 cupper $2.99, no inside stem or basket.  Enter Ebay:  found the insides on Ebay and purchased them for a mere $4.95 plus $8.00 shipping.  Even came from Canada!  I have been in heaven ever since.  It makes the strongest, best coffee. I swear if I ever bought Good coffee I think I'd just faint, but right now Folgers does just fine....
